Nurse Watch with Sweeping Hand - 5ATM Waterproof, Glow in Dark - for Medical & Nursing Professionals

What I said below is still true, but I'm adding stars for the good costumer service.The band on this watch is really nice and easy to wear all day. Generally I like the watch a lot, but the numbers on the pulsometer are very hard to read, and the glow in the dark is almost useless. The dots are hard to see and very small, and they fade very quickly. It would be better to have the entire back glow. I'm going to keep this as a backup watch, I think they have a newer version I'll try.I use this watch for my CNA class. I have used it to take the vital signs from patients, class mates, and family members while getting my CNA certificate. It works great. The band is made of a silicon material that does not soak in anything nasty bugs from the medical facilities and is easily cleaned and sanitized. It is a simple watch but does the job.I'm a student nurse and this watch is perfect for clinical & checkoffs. Just don't put water near it other than from washing your hands. It collects moisture easily, but dries out in a few days time. Probably not suitable for humid climates. I love the second hand because it tics 4x between each second giving me better accuracy during my assessments. I cannot hear it ticking unless I put my ear up to it. The HR estimate can lead to error since there is such a high variability between the numbers provided. It is best to just count the HR for the 30sx2 or the full minute. It looks clean and not too big. I chose the white band and silver face frame.We needed to get our daughter a watch with a sweeping hand (a sweeping hand is when the second hand continuously moves around the dial without ticking at all) for Vet school. This watch is not that. Although,her professor said it is ok to use it is not a sweeping hand. 2 stars because she can use it but this is false advertising.I know this was a cheap watch but the paper dial has bubbles. I would not recommend unless watch is for young child.Love the watch. Get compliments on it too. Great color. Yellow rules.This was a gift - my daughter loves it.
