At a little larger than a foot this watch case seems substantial. It very nicely holds five men's watches. The zipper operates smoothly, and there are two zipper heads so you can zip either direction or from both directions and have the zipper heads meet in the front middle. The case seems very durable--it is advertised as a travel case so it is definitely more functional than a showcase for your watches. It will offer good protection when you travel. I ordered it for my teenage son -- not so much for travel but just a safe way to store his watches. When he is older he might like a showcase for his watches but for now this is a great fit for his needs!
